SCIENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS IN ZPPSS CHENNUR
National science day is celebrated as one of the main science festivals in India. The day is celebrated to honour the Nobel laureate- Sir C.V. Raman for his invention of the ‘Raman effect’ on 28th February 1928. Sir C. V. Raman was the first Indian scientist to be honoured with the prestigious Nobel Award in Physics in the year1930. Hence, the National Science Day holds great significance for Indian Science and scientific community.
On this occasion science fair programme has been organised in the school today (28.02.2015). this programme was inaugurated by the MEO, Palakurthy, Mr. Swamy sir along with the Chennur sarpanch, Mr. Lavudya Ravi, SMC Chairman, Mr. Alakuntla Narsaiah, Mr. Ganesh. Many students exhibited their exhibits in this fair. Teachers and Children from School complex schools visited the science fair. Headmaster Mr. Md. Dastagir congratulated all the science maths ad social teachers--A. Thomas Reddy, S.Rajani, V. lingamurthy, G. buchanna,T.Ramesh Babu, J.Premalatha, M. Srinivas, D. Ramadevi, G. Ratnam --and students for making this programme a great success.
