Pupils, teachers, youth organisations and villagers all participated in the national festival, Republic Day. Indian tricolour was hoisted in many places in the village with great patriotism. Students and teachers rallied through the streets and witnessed the flag hoisting.
In school, the tricolour was hoisted by the headmaster, Mr MD. Dastagir Sir. Sarpanch, Lavudya Ravi, SMC chairperson Mr. Alakuntla Narsaiah ward members, SMC members, youth associations and villagers all participated in the programme.
Speeches were given by the students, villagers and teachers about the importance of the festival.
Money has been donated by the donors to the first three toppers of SSC, 2013-14 batch.
At the end, sweets were distributed among the students.
