The first ever Bathukamma festival, after the Telangana government had announced it as state festival, has been celebrated in our school, ZPPSS Chennur with great enthusiasm and devotion. Students piled different types of flowers and made bathukammas and placed them in the school ground and sang bathukamma songs in chorus. Lady teachers and even the mid day meal preparation agency members also participated in this women's festival.
